Volcano cookies

Inspired by the Grimsvötn volcanic eruption on 21st May, 2011:

Volcano cookies
(makes around 9 cookies)

※ 50 g butter
※ 1.5 dl flour
※ .4 dl sugar
※ a tablespoon or so of brown sugar
※ a tablespoon or so of syrup
※ around half a whipped egg white (i had it left over from meringue...)
※ Optional: chopped nuts

mix everything in a bowl. if it's too dry/crumbly, add some milk or water. if you want, put it in plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for some time, maybe an hour.
shape it into little volcano shapes with your hands and put them on baking paper on a tray.
bake at maybe 150 degrees celsius (? i did 175 but i don't think it was the best) for around 20 minutes, maybe more, you'll have to check on them and decide for yourself.

Melting chocolate and decorating:
※ one bar of chocolate is more than enough.
Put pieces of chocolate in a glass cup and put it in water in a pan/pot on the stove, set the temperature so the water will boil. The chocolate will melt in the glass and you don't have to stir it or worry about it, I've never had it burn or anything. (the glass cup and the chocolate won't be hot at all so you can hold onto it with your fingers, but the steam from the boiling water will be hot.)

Scoop up the melted chocolate with a teaspoon, put it in the crater of the volcano, then use the spoon to drag it out of the "hole" in different directions to make it flow down the mountain AND to make the hole look more hole-y (the chocolate not filling it up).
